Spinning
Selected from original cotton, blended, and twisted, spun with BONCOURA's unique dedication to the shape of the yarn, from BONCOURA's 'Ike-men'(original blend yarn), Ike-men denim is born.
Dyeing
We focus on pure indigo and achieve BONCOURA's original shades through rope dyeing at a unique dye concentration. Enjoy the beautiful natural aging of indigo.
Weaving
Our special 'Ike-men' is woven on vintage single width shuttole looms, incorporating air and taking time to meticulously create the unique Ike-men denim that BONCOURA envisions.
Sewing
We commit to cotton thread sewing; depending on the model, we alter the thread size, color, and stitching pattern. Sewn on vintage machines, the result is jeans with a rich expression. Please enjoy the unique aging process of BONCOURA Ike-men denim.
BONCOURA XX features a slightly thicker straight silhouette with a rugged feel. We've focused on vintage-inspired details such as V-stitching, hidden rivets, and punched rivets.
BONCOURA 66 is characterized by a silhouette that reminds one of the 60s Ivy and preppy styles, when jeans transcended from workwear to fashion. The beautifully calculated taper makes it a BONCOURA staple denim that suits anyone, any scene, and any outfit.
The silhouette of the Cinch Back is about midway between the '66' and 'XX'. The cinch back uses the needle-punched type seen before the '40s and features an original logo. This model is rich in unique details, such as top-crushing punched copper rivets and crotch rivets in the groin area.
BONCOURA Z is the only ZIP model among the standard 5-pocket-type denims. It features a slightly deeper rise and room around the thighs, while below the knee it tapers to a beautiful silhouette. The vertical and streamlined hip pockets allow for a variety of sophisticated styles despite the relaxed fit.
