BONCOURA's new baker pants.

The standard model that BONCOURA normally offers is based on US Navy-style baker pants and is made from an original olive back satin material.

This model is BONCOURA's first army-style baker pants, a new take on vintage US Army-style baker pants modified with BONCOURA's own interpretation.

Based on the earliest herringbone baker pants, which are said to be a legendary model made around the 1940s, this is a gem of an item that takes the best of the silhouettes and details from army baker pants of various eras.

The side adjuster specifications, which are a feature of the early models, and the specifications beyond the side adjuster deliberately follow the details of the early models.

The front is buttoned rather than zippered, and the buttons are made of urea buttons, a material often used by the military.

The rise is deep and the relaxed silhouette can be worn either snugly or loosely.

The side adjusters allow for fine adjustment of the waist.

The material used is BONCOURA's new original military olive herringbone fabric.

It is thicker than the herringbone material used in the vintage items of that time and has the unevenness of herringbone, making it the perfect material for enjoying BONCOURA's unique aging process.

BONCOURA's original military olive herringbone fabric is dyed exclusively using sulfur dye, a dye that was widely used on military items of the time.

Sulfur dyeing, which is classified as a vat dye like indigo dye, is resistant to fading caused by chlorine bleach contained in common detergents and sunlight, and is the most color-fast of all clothing dyeing methods, so it was widely used as a dyeing method for military equipment used in harsh environments.

It is an excellent dye in that the color does not fade easily, but it is very difficult to adjust the color, and only experienced craftsmen can produce the desired color, so dyeing with 100% sulfur dye is a very rare dyeing method these days.

BONCOURA offers army baker pants that are made with the utmost care and can only be found at BONCOURA. Try them on and feel the depth and care that goes into them.

The size chart is for items that have shrunk after washing and drying.
