Prisoner Work Pants Denim Hickory indigo SALON LIMITED
A pair inspired by vintage prisoner work pants.
Denim and hickory are both representative workwear fabrics, yet each has a distinct character. By combining the two, their individual textures and qualities are brought into sharper focus.
The main fabric is 8.5oz BONCOURA IKEMEN Denim. Its moderate weight makes the trousers comfortable to wear and easy to incorporate into everyday use throughout the year.
The silhouette is based on a high rise, with a slightly shaped waist. The seat and thighs are cut with ample room, allowing the trousers to sit neatly at the waist without restricting movement.
A hickory patch pocket is placed on one side at both the front and back. Hickory is also used for the rear waistband panel between the seat and the belt loops. Set against the indigo denim, the hickory stripes create an asymmetrical construction and a distinctive appearance from the back.
The inside of the front fly placket is finished with selvedge, a hallmark of BONCOURA denim. BONCOURA details are carried through even in areas that remain hidden from view.
With continued wear, the denim and hickory develop in different ways, gradually revealing fading and wear around the pockets, rear panel, and waist.
The distinctive construction of prisoner work pants, refined into the balance BONCOURA considers ideal—a SALON LIMITED piece.
