Denim Shorts XX Indigo
Made from deadstock selvedge denim, these shorts carry a distinct character different from BONCOURA’s original “Ikemen Denim.” The fabric has a soft yet substantial hand, and with wear it develops its own marks, highlights, and fading—an aging process unique to this material.
The details are built on the foundation of BONCOURA XX. From rivets and stitchwork to the sewing specifications throughout, the same original parts and attention to detail found in our full-length denim are carried over—so the hardware and construction age beautifully alongside the fabric.
The outseam is finished with selvedge. By turning up the hem slightly, the selvedge line becomes visible, emphasizing the unmistakable presence of denim even in a short silhouette.
This is not simply a shortened XX. While grounded in the strength and atmosphere of the full-length BONCOURA XX, the silhouette and proportions have been reworked from the ground up so the balance feels right as shorts. The width, drape, and overall impression have been carefully adjusted, resulting in a pair with real presence.
