The history of the Cruiser Jacket dates back to early 20th-century America.
At the time, workers in the lumber industry, such as those in the US Forest Service, and hunters needed a sturdy jacket that could withstand the harsh natural environments they faced.
In response to this need, the Cruiser Jacket was designed.
Its design, featuring multifunctional pockets, durable materials, and a combination of windproof and insulating properties, perfectly met their requirements.
While many vintage Cruiser Jackets were made of wool, this time we have used BONCOURA's original moleskin fabric.
This densely woven moleskin offers not only durability but also a unique charm that enhances over time, transforming the jacket into a one-of-a-kind piece through aging.
The front buttons are made of brown nut, which, like the fabric, develop a deep character as they age.
The jacket features four pockets on the front, each equipped with original snap buttons. The left chest pocket includes a pen holder, and there are also hand warmer pockets.
There are back pockets on both sides of the rear, and to create this detail, two full pieces of fabric were luxuriously used for the back.
Enjoy the design that evokes a sense of history and the unique texture that comes with aging.
