The Motor City Vest is designed to provide reliable warmth while retaining the freedom of movement that comes with a sleeveless layer.

A raised rib-knit collar wraps naturally around the neck, helping block cold air from entering. Because a vest leaves the arms unrestricted, protecting the neck area becomes especially important in maintaining warmth.

Large pockets are set into the front, with angled openings for easy access. The back is cut longer than the front, extending further over the waist for added coverage.

For this version, the outer fabric is a duck cloth woven with rope-dyed indigo yarns in both the warp and weft.

It begins with a deep, saturated indigo tone, then gradually develops creases, wear marks, and tonal variation with continued use.

The firm structure and rugged character of duck cloth give it a distinctly different presence from denim. As the indigo begins to change with wear, the fabric develops an increasingly rich and individual surface.
