This model is inspired by jackets that existed around the 1920s–1930s.
BONCOURA has reinterpreted the overall proportions into a silhouette that aligns with our ideals, blending the atmosphere of vintage garments with a unique BONCOURA sensibility.

Double-stitch construction is used throughout, and fine details that appeal to garment enthusiasts are found across the piece, such as a pen holder, a watch pocket for carrying a pocket watch, and a rounded hem.

The fabric features a duck hunter camouflage pattern.
Its origin traces back to the "frogskin" camo developed and adopted by the U.S. military during World War II for tropical environments in the Pacific Theater.
The distinctive rounded pattern was designed to reduce visibility in forest and swamp environments, but its unique visual appeal eventually gained popularity beyond the battlefield, making its way into hunting gear, workwear, and even fashion.

This version uses a special herringbone fabric with camouflage patterns printed in different tones on the face and reverse sides, offering a rich, dimensional expression.

However, the varying depths and contours across its surface are the result of meticulous craftsmanship.

Creating evenly spaced, multiple stepped layers on a button is highly difficult. Through extensive trial and error with skilled artisans, we achieved what was once thought impossible.
This handcrafted process infuses each button with a character that can be felt upon touch.

Initially, the textured contrast is sharp, but with wear, the edges soften and a gentle luster begins to emerge.

This button, with its carefully considered design and craftsmanship, is a symbol of BONCOURA’s dedication to quality and detail.
