BONCOURA creates a serious hanging fleece fabric. Just like denim, this fishing fleece is carefully selected from the blend of raw cotton to the twist of the yarn.The texture, feel, and color vary depending on the type of raw cotton and the place of origin. We will combine them to create the ideal fabric. I'm very particular about the color and heather feel, so I set out to create a sample that couldn't be found anywhere else, but to my surprise, if I changed just 1% of the color, the color would be completely different. Even if it's just 1%, it's the most important factor that determines the color and heather feel, so we can't compromise.We repeatedly change the blending ratio of raw cotton, make yarn, knit samples, and experiment until we get the color we're aiming for. I made a mistake. What is even more difficult is that even if you temporarily knit using only the finished yarn, you can see the color to a certain extent, but when knitting with loop knitting, the color of the fleece will also affect the outer material, so you can actually knit it using a loop knitting machine. There are some things you won't understand unless you try knitting. I created the final judge based on my own sensibilities and experience. In order to give depth to the color of the fabric, multiple colors are mixed to express that color. Many people are surprised, but we do not use any gray color to achieve the gray heathered color, and we also use various techniques at the raw cotton and mixing stages to create a unique heathered feel. Using a precious old loop knitting machine, it can only make about 10m of fabric per day under normal circumstances, but due to special effort, it can only make 7m of fabric per day. If you convert this into BONCOURA's standard hoodie, you won't be able to get even 4 of them in a day. Although it is inefficient, it has a unique texture that cannot be replaced by anything else. From the round raising to the final finishing, the raw materials and knitting have a big impact on the texture, but the final finishing touches also have a big impact on the texture. As with loop knitting, there are very few factories in Japan that can produce round raised fabrics, and even within Japan there are only a limited number of skilled craftsmen. Among them, we search for factories we can trust and ask them to cooperate with us. BONCOURA's hanging fleece fabric is created without compromise from the raw materials to the knitting finish.It has a rich wool-like touch and a chewy and elastic texture. The fabric has a unique depth and melange feel and is extremely soft to the touch.The fabric is used horizontally to prevent vertical shrinkage, and the gussets on the sides prevent horizontal shrinkage. The hood has been carefully shaped to stand upright, and is sized to allow for a relaxed fit.
