BONCOURA introduces a new take on the classic baker pants.
While our standard model is based on the US Navy style and crafted from our original olive back satin fabric, this version reinterprets the US Army type vintage baker pants through the lens of BONCOURA—marking our first Army-style baker pants.
This model draws inspiration from an extremely rare early baker pants model made of herringbone fabric from around the 1940s. We've carefully selected and integrated the best silhouette and detail elements from various generations of Army baker pants to create a truly refined piece.
One of the standout features is the side adjuster, faithfully modeled after those found in the earliest designs. The end of the adjuster is finished in the same vintage-inspired detail.
The front uses a button fly rather than a zipper, and the buttons are made of urea resin, a material often used in military applications for its durability and character.
The rise is deep, and the overall silhouette is relaxed. It can be worn with a snug fit or in a more relaxed style depending on your preference. The side adjusters allow for precise waist adjustment for added versatility.
The fabric is a cotton-linen blend denim, with the distinct texture and nep characteristic of linen. This gives the material a unique expression, and allows for rich patina and aging over time.
