US Army Baker Pants Duck Hunter Camo

A new take on the classic baker pants, reimagined through the lens of BONCOURA.

While BONCOURA’s standard model is based on the US Navy-style baker pants, using our original olive back satin fabric, this version marks the brand’s first interpretation of the Army-type baker pants.

The design is inspired by an exceptionally rare early model of US Army herringbone baker pants from the 1940s—often referred to as a “phantom” piece. Taking cues from this earliest iteration, BONCOURA has carefully blended key details and silhouettes from various generations of Army baker pants to create a truly refined hybrid.

This model features side adjusters, staying true to the details of early models, including the distinctive construction at the end of each strap.
The front uses buttons instead of a zipper, with military-grade urea buttons typically adopted for combat gear.
A deep rise and relaxed silhouette provide versatility—wear it with a snug fit or let it hang loosely for a more laid-back look.
The side adjusters also allow for precise waist adjustment.

The fabric is a newly developed herringbone duck hunter camouflage.
Originally designed and adopted by the U.S. military during World War II for tropical warfare in the Pacific theater, this so-called "frogskin" camo featured rounded, organic shapes intended to reduce visibility in forested and swampy environments.
Over time, its distinctive design also gained popularity in workwear and fashion circles.
This special fabric features different camouflage patterns on the face and reverse sides, creating a richly layered appearance.
